Please work on completing your greeting card today. Tomorrow we will put on the finishing touches and I will show you how we are going to print them in different formats.
If you are finished with the greeting card please do the following: (Many of you have already done work in KeyTrain so the process should be familiar to you.) Please note that I have assigned a new lesson: Career Clusters - Arts and Communications in addition to the three lessons (Applied Math, Reading for Information and Locating Information) that you would have worked on in Online A and B.
You are to work on KeyTrain today. The web site to sign on to KeyTrain is: Keytrain.com
Once you have signed on scroll down to until you see the 'Key Train Users Zone'. Click on the red 'enter here' link.
Once the 'Welcome to KeyTrain' screen comes up then click on the red 'Run KeyTrain Online' link.
Remember that to sign on use the following:
user name: bedford12345 (replace 12345 with your student id)
password: bedford
You can work on any of the following:
Applied Math
Reading for Information
Locating Information
Career Clusters - Arts and Communications (no pre-test required)
If you have not completed the pre-test for a lesson then you must complete that first. Once you have completed the pre-test you will then work on the 'test-training' for the highest level of your pre-test. For instance if I pre-tested at a level 4 for Locating Information then I would click on the start button for level 4.
The Career Clusters - Arts and Communications training is designed specifically for your career pathway. I would like for you to complete the training for this lesson during second term.
Part of the your class grade will depend on the progress you make in KeyTrain.
Good luck and have a great day.
Dennis should be able to help anyone who has issues getting on and using KeyTrain.
Please make sure that you put away the digital tablets before leaving today. I stashed the tablets in the beige filing cabinet in the back of the room. Look in the different drawers and you will find the tablets.
