In this post you are to clearly define the reasons why you would use Illustrator vs. InDesign. Make sure you talk about the differences in functions that you have with each application.

Illustrator is a image creator. InDesign is a program no on should use. It tries to be a decent page layout software, but fails. Adobe should be ashamed and embarrassed and should discontinue the product.
ReplyDeleteIllustrator is used to create image designs, and InDesign is used to create a layout for something, along with being used to create the design that the layout belonged to.
ReplyDeleteInDesign does not have the options for drawing that Illustrator does, but InDesign has layout benefits that Illustrator does not, such as the ability to use multiple pages.
Illustrater is a software that allows you to create images but not do much with the layout and how you would like it to be presented. Indesign allows you to take pictures and words and put them in a format which makes your image more presentable and enjoyable to see
ReplyDeleteWith Illustrator you have alot more tools to create an image. Illustrator is basically Indesign but with more features. You have less than half the things in Indesign than illustrator. Illustrator is more an drawing program and Indesign is more to do with layouts like letters and cards.
ReplyDeleteIllustrator and Indesign are two very similar programs, but they are also very different. In Illustrator you can only work on one page at a time, while in Indesign you can work on brochures, and other things that deal with more than one page. Illustrator is much better to use when designing graphics, mostly because of the many easy-to-use tools. Indesign is good to use when you need to lay things out and when you are ready to print, it is a program where you can make the final touches.
ReplyDeleteIf i am creating a design i would use illustrator over indesign because illustrator is a product used for creating the design were indesign is more of a product to finsih your design in a formation way.
ReplyDeleteIllustrator is a tool used more for editing pictures while InDesign is a tool used from adding the text to your project. Illustrator is what you should use when you want to create a picture based poster and InDesign is what you should use for a text based poster.
