The Creative Commons License's are used to give everyday people like you and me ways to protect our intellectual property. We can 'license' our creative work so that other people can use our work without our permission or give us credit for our work.
The steps to license your work are really very simple:
create an account in Flickr
Upload your images
Once the images have been uploaded you will 'edit' the permissions and privacy so that you set the Create Common license level that you want to use
Remember that you can not take credit for someone else's work and you don't want someone else to take credit for your work - if this happens then you are breaking the law (or someone else is)
All of the 'self-created' images for this class that you uploaded to your personal web site must be uploaded to Flickr
After uploading you are to TAG all the images as: MCCormickGraphicDesign
Next you are to set the Creative Common License for each image
Please see this link in Flickr and make sure that you understand the guidelines BEFORE you upload. This is a serious step for designers. You want to make sure that you are protected. http://www.flickr.com/help/guidelines/
