Hello Graphic Design and welcome to our class blog.
Blogging is one of the topics we will discuss in class and what better way to learn than to use a blog. We will use this blog throughout the term in a couple different ways.
It may be to respond to something we do in class. It may be to post work, or comment on other's work. A blog has many different uses. We also will have each of you create a blog so that you can see how easy it is.
Before we begin blogging there are a few ground rules!
1. All posts, must use appropriate school language and be completed in paragraph form. When you post, you should be using complete sentences with proper grammar and spelling. NO: U, R, UR, i, CUZ, etc.
2. When posting a comment, you may agree or disagree with another students comment. However, you must state why you feel that way and must do it in a manner that is polite and non-judgmental. The comments need to be non-personal and refrain from sarcasm and put-downs.
3. You must comment on every post, it is an assignment (unless otherwise stated).
4. You must address the topics and questions posted on the blog. You cannot simply write, “I agree.”

ReplyDeleteI believe that these rules are easy to abide by. I can and will respond to my classmates' comments in a polite manner and explain myself awhen I disagree with them. I will use proper grammar and proper spelling of words and phrases. I also promise to always respond to all posts.

3.)My favorite things to do when I'm not in school are to hang out with my friends, and I also play tennis through the week.
4.)I'm going to Monroe Community College my first two years, then transfering to University of Toledo.
5.)My plans are to get my two year degree in Graphic Design at Monroe Community College, but even before that, finish senior year off strong with a high G.P.A.

ReplyDelete2. In 10 years I can see myself graduated from college with my degree also starting to get my masters degree.I also plan on working at a school or Juvenile in a big city.
3. When I'm not in school I love hanging out with my friends. I love doing anything that involves art. I love to shop. I'm very involved in my church youth group.
4. I intend to go to Monroe Community College for a year but then I will be transferring to another college. I don't know where yet.
5. I plan on majoring in Sociology and minoring in Spanish. Once I graduate from college I can begin to start my career, wich will lead to many long term goals that I have involving social work.

1. My career goals are to find a job that I don’t hate. I get bored with things very easily and need to find a job that’s going to change with the times and not just be the same thing day in and day out. I’m interested in graphic design, recording arts, and engineering, but that will all probably change again in like two months.
ReplyDelete2. I have no idea what I’ll be doing in 10 years. It all depends on what I decide to pick as a career and where I’m living. I’d love to be out of Michigan and probably west like California, and I’d like to have a significant other that I’m either married to or on the way to marriage with.
3. When I’m not in school I enjoy hanging out with my friends. I’m very active with young life, and I love sitting around playing my piano and guitar. I’d have to say listening to music is the thing I do most though. I pop on my headphones and generally just do whatever.
4. College is all up in the air, I really like Sienna Heights and my dream school is Full Sail University, but I have no idea where I’m going yet.
5. I plan on keeping my grades up and getting scholarships to help pay for college. No matter what I do, even if I end up tattooing and don’t need a college education I will go to college so I have an education to fall back on. For the most part though, I’m going to be me and do my own thing and not let people get in the way of what I want to do with my life. I’m not going to settle for something I don’t enjoy.
6. I live with my mom, stepdad, my two younger sisters, and my chinchilla. I visit my dad, who lives in Monroe, and I have 4 step siblings, but I very rarely see them.
1.) My career goals are to do something fun that i like. I've been thinking about maybe a fashion designer and that is the main reason i took this class.

3.)When i'm not in school, i like to hangout with friends; sing, dance, party, and just have fun.
4.) I have not quite thought about where i want to go college yet.
5.) To reach my goals i plan to take certain classes in school, and take time out of my day to plan and think about what i need to start doing.
6.) I live with my mom and step dad. We have one dog and his name is Tanner.-Yes i came up with that name when i was like 9! I have 2 sisters; Jarina and Jazzlyn. Jazz lives with my family, but jarina moved out 2 years ago and has a settled family now.
1. I dont have any specific career goals right now, but I do want a career in arts.

1. My career goals are: As a senior in Highschool I had to come up with some ideas and goals on what I would like to be when I get older. Well, I have decided that I would like to be a nurse. So my goals to getting their are to get above average grades while in High School, take courses that will help me to succeed in the field of nursing, and to get into a good college.
ReplyDelete2. What I see myself doing in 10 years: I really havent thought about my future that far away, but, I would like to see myself as being complete with college and having a nice-steady job as a nurse in a well-known hospital.
3. My favorite things to do when not in school: I have alot of hobbies, but my absolute favorite thing to do is hanging out with friends. I am also part of a club called Younglife. I have a job, which takes up much of my time. I also run indoor/outdoor track, practice everyday after school.
4. Where I intend to go to college: I plan on attending the University of Toledo. I have offers from Siena Heights University and Adrian College to run track for them, but they are private schools so they are expensive. UT is close to home and affordable. They also have a very good nursing program, which is a plus for me.
5. What plan do you have in place to reach your goals: My plans are to work as hard as I can and put in as much effort as possible into my school work. I plan to look more into nursing and more into colleges that offer nursing.
6. My family is: I am the oldest sibling in my house. I have a brother who is a year younger than me and I have a sister who is five years younger than me. My dad works at Midway Products and my mom stays at home. I have two dogs, a beagle and a pitbull.

Career Goals: To go to college and get a degree in Computer Science and Engineering, and work at a good company

5. I have been offered a plan on how exactly to be accepted and Ball State has offered me a check lsit on what classes to take.

When not in school: If it's summer then you'll find me on the tennis courts or in someone's pool in winter you'll find me under ice in someones pool.
College: I plan to go to the University of Michigan, if not then UT.
Plans: To be completely awesome till I become a engineer.
Family: I have a Mother, Father, and a Sister. All of which are Vegetarians.
